Join the ReVote Network
Building a Statewide Movement
The ReVote Black Church Community Voter Project is building a statewide network of churches committed to strengthening civic engagement in their communities.
By joining the ReVote network, churches become part of a growing movement working to expand democratic participation across Alabama.

What It Means to Be a ReVote Church
Participating churches establish a ReVote Civic Engagement Ministry within their congregation.
Each ministry includes:
- one Civic Engagement Captain
- four to five ministry members
- at least one community member who lives near the church
Together, this team leads voter engagement and community outreach efforts.
What ReVote Churches Do
ReVote ministries help their communities engage in the democratic process through activities such as:
- voter registration drives
- voter education events
- community listening sessions
- door-to-door outreach
- phone and text voter engagement
- election participation efforts
Ministries organize both within the church and within the surrounding neighborhood.

Support for Churches
Faith & Works provides support to churches participating in the ReVote network, including:
- training for Civic Engagement Captains
- organizing resources and toolkits
- statewide strategy calls and convenings
- voter outreach materials
- mini-grants for community engagement
Our goal is to equip churches with the tools and support needed to serve their communities effectively.
Who Should Join
ReVote welcomes participation from:
- pastors and faith leaders
- church ministry leaders
- community organizers connected to faith institutions
